IMPACT

In a few short years, SCLA has constructed three beautiful playing fields thanks to our volunteers and generous supporters. The fields are the same specialized turf used at Duke University and other top schools. We have added goals, fencing and bounce backs and we are working to add fields and improve the grounds.

We have hosted several clubs, clinics, leagues and more for hundreds of players. In the coming year, hundreds more children will play at The Ranch. We will introduce the game to kids, provide clinics and camps, run donated equipment drives and more.

“The SCLA Lacrosse Ranch has given so much opportunity to future lacrosse generations to be the best players that they can be. Having access to pristine fields, backstops, and bounce backs, players can stop worrying about where to get better and focus on being the best players they can be. Without a doubt, the SCLA Lacrosse Ranch is going to completely change Charleston lacrosse for the better and I cannot wait to watch that process.”

“Lacrosse has been a huge part of my college and professional life. I've met great people, found new opportunities and grown off the field thanks to the coaches, teammates, competition and sportsmanship. Through SCLA and The Ranch we can bring lacrosse and those same opportunities to children that might otherwise never know the game.”

“Deciding to use the SCLA fields to host the inaugural Palmetto Lacrosse Camp was a no brainier! We thank them for providing Charleston with a designated lacrosse facility. We look forward to a long relationship between Palmetto Lacrosse CHS and SCLA!”

— Jack Reynolds, Camp Director

“SCLA has given me a platform to grow mentally and physically, as a young man and athlete.”
